Nove Punti

A flagship you can turn in your hand

Headless commerce and 3D product proposal for Lavinia Corsi. Prepared by Nove Punti, Milan, 8 March 2027.

The brief

What you asked for, and what is at stake

You asked for a new site before the September launch in New York and Seoul. We think the real brief is fewer returns.

Your current platform carries the house well in Italy. It does not survive a 4G connection in Brooklyn, and it has no Korean storefront at all. Twenty-three percent of bags sold online come back, most of them for scale.

So we propose one headless storefront for three markets, and a 3D viewer that lets a customer turn the bag before she buys it. If we have any of this wrong, tell us before you read the rest.

Nobody returns a bag they have already turned over in their hands.

The numbers behind the brief

From your GA4 and returns data, rolling twelve months to January 2027. These are the figures the new storefront is measured against.

US exits at shipping

Homepage, autumn drop

One campaign image, one line of serif, nothing else above the fold. The edit loads in under 1.8 seconds on 4G because it ships no tracking scripts before first paint.

Homepage direction for the autumn drop

Product page with the 3D viewer

The bag loads as a photograph, then becomes a model you can turn, open and set beside a coin for scale. Scale is what most of your returns cite.

Product page with a 3D bag viewer

One checkout, three markets

Euro, dollar and won, with local payment methods and duties shown before the shipping step, where 38 percent of US visitors currently leave.

Checkout on two phones, light and dark

Monogram and colourway configurator

Six leathers, four hardware finishes and a monogram, rendered live. Flagship Plus tier only, and our recommendation for the Seoul opening.

Bag configurator interface

Twenty-four weeks, five phases

Build runs in two-week sprints with a demo every second Friday. You see working software from week twelve, not a deck.

Discovery, weeks 1 to 3

Workshops in Milan, a returns audit by product line, and the analytics baseline every target is measured from.

Structure, weeks 4 to 6

IA for three markets, the Sanity content model and the redirect map for 2,140 existing URLs.

Design, weeks 7 to 13

Design tokens, components and fourteen templates, prototyped in Figma with your real catalogue.

Build, weeks 11 to 21

Next.js on Shopify Plus, ERP and search integrations, 3D models produced in parallel.

Launch, weeks 22 to 24

UAT, a five-day launch freeze, go-live on 21 September and thirty days of hypercare.

Three launches we would point you to

Fourteen people, founded 2017. Giulia Ferrandini leads design, Matteo Valsecchi leads engineering, Ilaria Pozzi runs 3D. All three would work on Lavinia Corsi from the first workshop.

Velluto Ottica, 3D try-on

Eighty frames modelled and served as a WebGL viewer on every product page. Returns on frames fell from 19 to 11 percent in the first season, and the viewer now drives a third of add-to-bag events.

Eyewear product page with a 3D viewer

Campo Sedici, headless replatform

A furniture maker moved from a monolith to Next.js and Shopify Plus in nineteen weeks. Mobile LCP went from 5.1 to 1.9 seconds, and organic revenue held through the cutover.

Furniture storefront on laptop and phone

Norrvik Knitwear, Korean storefront

A Stockholm label launched in Korea with local payments, KakaoTalk sign-in and Korean-first copy written in Seoul. Conversion in Korea matched Sweden within four months.

Assumptions and terms

The parts that decide whether September holds.

Who writes the content, and what happens if it is late

Your team supplies product copy and campaign imagery; Korean copy is written by our partner in Seoul and reviewed by yours. Content arriving after 9 August moves go-live week for week.

Third-party costs are passed through, not marked up

Shopify Plus, Sanity, Algolia and Vercel are contracted by you directly. We estimate about 4,300 EUR a month across the four at your current volumes, and we will show the working.

Performance and accessibility targets

LCP under 2.5 seconds on a mid-range Android over 4G, CLS under 0.1, and WCAG 2.2 AA on every template. Tested in the last two versions of Safari, Chrome, Edge and Samsung Internet.

Revisions and change requests

Two rounds of revision per template are included. Anything new after design sign-off on 9 July is estimated in writing before we start it, so the fee never moves silently.

Payment schedule

30 percent on signature, 40 percent at design sign-off, 30 percent at go-live. Invoices are due in 30 days.

Next step: one call, then the April slot

This proposal holds until 26 March 2027. After that we would need to re-check studio capacity for a 12 April start and the September go-live it depends on.
