Halfmoon Live

Halfmoon Live

Launches, conferences and live events, made in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle. Studio portfolio for 2027.

A launch is remembered for one minute. We design backwards from that minute.

Carbon per guest, average

Seventh Wave, for Sundew Swim

A night-swim launch in a dockside lido, with the pool floor projection-mapped from above. Six hundred guests, and the first drop sold out in 41 minutes.

Signal Hall, for Tandem Grid

A 900-person user conference streamed live to 14,200 more. One stage, a 22 metre LED wall and a run of show cut to the second.

How we see it

The room is the medium

Most launches are designed as content first and rooms second. We think that has it the wrong way round, and the numbers from our last forty shows agree.

A livestream carries what the room felt. If two hundred people lean forward at the same moment, the stream shows it and the clip travels. If they are standing at a bar waiting for a speech, no edit will save it.

So we start with the floor: where people stand, how long they stay, what they see first. The stream, the social cuts and the press pack are built from that, not the other way round.

Signal Hall, step by step

Tandem Grid's first user conference: 900 in the room, 14,200 online, one day. The clearest example of how a show leaves our studio.

The floor before the stage

We mapped dwell time from Tandem's last three meetups and found people left the keynote to queue for coffee. The bar moved inside the auditorium, and keynote retention went to 94%.

A 3D walkthrough, signed off in one call

The whole hall built as a real-time model. Tandem's team walked it on a laptop, moved the press riser, and approved the layout in forty minutes.

One wall, three uses

A 22 metre LED wall carried the keynote, the product demos and the evening set. One rig, one load-in, and a fifth of the AV budget we were first quoted.

The report, ten days later

Attendance by session, stream drop-off by minute, and 1.8 kg of carbon per guest against a target of 2.5. Tandem has booked us for the next two.

The hour before the room fills is ours.

How a show is made

The same five stages for a forty-person dinner or a nine-hundred-person conference. Only the length of each changes.

The minute

Before any venue or budget, we agree the one moment guests should leave talking about. Everything after is tested against it.

Floor and flow

Floorplan, capacity, dwell time and sightlines, drawn in a real-time 3D model you can walk through on a call.

Production planning

A live production schedule shared with you and every supplier. RAMS, rider, crew calls and contingency in one place.

Load-in to derig

Our producers stay on site from crew call to the last truck. Nobody you met in the pitch disappears on show day.

The report

Ten working days after the show: attendance, dwell time, stream data, consented guest data and carbon per guest.
